Applying for a place at Stourport High School
Transition from Primary School to Secondary School
We have one intake a year into Year 7 at Stourport High School. To apply for your child to transfer from primary to secondary school, you need to complete the application form on the Worcestershire Local Authority website.
Applications close on 31st October and the Local Authority will notify parents of the outcome of their application for a place. Any applications that are received after the deadline will be considered as late applications and will be ranked below all “on-time” applications.
If you would like to arrange to visit the school for a tour, please contact Reception on 01299 872950 or email SHS Office. You can also view and Download our Prospectus for further information.

Appeals Process
Should you not receive an offer of a place at Stourport High School, you have the right to appeal that decision. As we are an Academy school, this appeal must be made in writing to the Chair of Governors and sent directly to the governing body at the following address: The Clerk to the Governors, Stourport High School & VIth Form College. Further information on the appeals process can be found in our Admissions Policy.
