We work closely with other schools within Severn Academies Educational Trust to provide a wide range of opportunities for children to meet and work together in a range of settings. In addition, a carefully planned schedule of events and activities take place throughout the year to make transition to high school as smooth as possible. Activities take place in years 5 and 6 and involve staff from Stourport High School both at both the primary schools and the secondary school.
Smooth transition is also very important at other stages in the school journey especially from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 4 to Key Stage 5. There is also a great deal of careful planning to ensure transition from one year to the next makes all children feel safe, cared for and excited about their movement into a new year. Teachers work closely to ensure all transitions are carried out effectively.
