Remembrance Day

Students paid their respects on Thursday 11th November, to those who gave their lives for their country during the First and Second World Wars and more recent conflicts.

A remembrance assembly was held alongside a two-minute silence.

Head students Jacob Harrod and Katie Webber, from year 11, laid a wreath at the memorial board to former scholars and a teacher
who were killed during the First World War.

Principal Sara Peace said: “The names highlighted on the board are who our colleges are named after York, Bridgford, Glover and Randle, as a lasting reminder of their sacrifice.”
